During the 2016 campaign, Trump frequently claimed that, if elected, he wouldn't have time to play golf. Running the country was too important a job to take time off for a round of golf.

Believe me, folks.”But, with things going so well in the country - Covid-19, massive unemployment, daily demonstrations against racism, armed white supremacist threatening civil war, etc. - Trump has plenty of time for golf.
