This is as of mid-morning, April 21.  Covid-19 deaths exceed Americans lost on 9/11 (2,996) and in the war on terror that 9/11 generated.  Losses also exceed lives lost in the Korean War and, at the current rate will exceed losses in the Vietnam War by the end of next week.  The first Covid-19 death in the US was on February 29.  In 53 days, Americans deaths caused by the virus have gone from 0 to 43663.
